I think I've decided upon making an old pimp who started the red light district. How does that sound? I think he'll have been born in Rapture... like his parents moved there or met one another there.

Well Rapture opened in November of 1946. Siren Alley became the Red Light District after the fall of Rapture which started on New Years Eve of 1958, so basically 1959. He could only be... like 12 XD

Del, you could make it so that he was already born when his parents moved. Maybe they were both super intellectual. All the more reason for him to want to rebel and become a pimp, right?

xD
I suppose so!
Maybe he could have been like... 17 when they took him to Rapture? +12 years would make him... 29. I want him to be olderrrrrrrr. Whatever... maybe 18 +12 = 30... that might look better for my image... still a lot younger than I wanted, but it's cooooooooooool.
I'll begin working on it, but don't wait for me to start.

Ok, since Del doesnt want us to wait, Ill get working on that intro post! And heres Gabbz's bio
Name: Dahlia (Dallie) Johnston
Age: 36
Gender: Female
Occupation: Former actress/housewife
Appearance: Prom queen her senior year in high school, Dahlia is a sight to behold. She might as well embody the 50s’ concept of beauty: pale, voluptuous, long-legged, and blonde. Agents picked her out of a crowd, launching her into a glamorous career of modeling, taking advantage of her looks. She stands at about 5’7” not counting the heels she usually wears; she has always had a sense of fashion, and this hasn’t left her even as she’s grown older. Therefore, she can always be seen wearing something nice, but never over the top; she was always known for her simple elegance, and this made her quite popular top-side. She has big hazel eyes laced with long lashes, eyes of an actress; emotions run as smoothly on her face as water across the eroded stones of a brook.
Personality: Dahlia is a loving woman. She treats most everyone with the same, indiscriminant kindness as she would a family member. Though, because of her experience in show business, she knows how to get what she wants when she wants it. It’s her methods that are a tad different. While she is determined, she is soft in her approach. She was never loud or outspoken, but her scathing sincerity is enough to make anyone look like a villain that stands in her way. Don’t think this means she’s a diva, or a gold-digging flake; she uses what she has and nothing else. (And no one has said that she hasn’t dropped a few dresses for this purpose. Men love a “desperate” woman.)
Nevertheless, Dahlia has just the right amount of confidence and sense of “place.” She knows it’s a man’s world, and she plays by their rules. But while they rule conspicuously, obnoxiously, and arrogantly, she slips through the cracks and uses her time in the spotlight just enough to blind them and get what she needs in their moment of vulnerability. Again, don’t take this as evidence of some sort of manipulative personality. Dahlia is far from that. She does what she needs to survive. Not with a bang, but a whisper.
The only time she ever shows any amount of unease or anxiety is when it comes to children. It’s not from as much uncertainty as it is from fear. To them, they are as fragile as flowers made of spider web; as pure and as incorruptible as daylight. She becomes flustered, but she never stops smiling when in their presence. She always said the only thing she inherited from her mother was that nurturing instinct: innate, forceful, and aching.
History: Dahlia Johnston was born Deborah Harris to Edith and John Harris on January 12th, 1922. Though she wasn’t old enough to remember much, her family struggled through the Great Depression in America, her father doing such back-breaking work that he was just about broken when the war rolled around. He was too old and worn to fight, so she stayed with him while her mother went off to. She cared for him as her mother had for her only a year earlier. However, there’s only so much an 11-year-old could do to help her crippled father, and he died only days after her 13th birthday.
This put the feeling of fragility of life in her hands at a very young age. She blamed herself through and through; if she hadn’t been born, he wouldn’t have had to work so hard. If only she’d taken better care of him, maybe he’d still be alive. Her mother, too, shattered under the weight of the loss. From there, Dahlia – already so mature for her age – began to feel the pangs of isolation; but this didn’t get in her way. She finished high school with good scores and was active in extracurricular activities, pretty much doing all she could to keep herself occupied. And while she prepared herself for as professional a career as she could find, a Hollywood agent found her first. She went from secretary-to-be to an infant star.
Her looks were the central point of her blooming fame. She was delicate in appearance, and for the most part delicate in her beginning roles, but she was not as fragile as the audience knew her to be. She started out shaky enough; she only had school play productions as far as acting experience went. But she steadily improved, her already strong confidence building with each positive review she received. However, her acting career wasn’t as smooth as it seemed. There were a lot of roadblocks because of her gender and her demands. She wasn’t demure in the workplace. She knew what she needed to further herself. Nevertheless, when she finally realized she could barely get more than she’d already achieved, the appeal of stardom dimmed to a lackluster glow rather than a glimmering dream.
Along with the money she saved up, she also made sure that her family – still shaken from past hardships – was provided for. In fact, family became more and more than it had ever been something she cherished; and it wasn’t long before she figured she should start one of her own. After perhaps one of her better movies debuted (though it was still small and rather low-profile), Dahlia decided it was time to retire. Her long-time friend and agent, Eric Johnston, proposed to her and she accepted. After years of trying to have a child, she finally realized she was pregnant. And it was a few months into it, Andrew Ryan – per request of Sander Cohen – invited the two of them to Rapture, in hopes of stimulating the underwater utopia’s entertainment business. After some discussion (Dahlia was worried about moving and traveling to such a… out-of-the-way place), they agreed to go. Dahlia would continue acting under one of Cohen’s associates, after some surgery from Dr. Steinman to erase pregnancy from her features.
Her daughter was a Rapture baby, named Caroline Johnston, on April 12th, 1952. She is now six years old. Dahlia is still a stay-at-home mom, but her daughter’s age means that she’ll soon be able to re-enter the business. Eric is working for Cohen, having continued his agency since his move to Rapture. He’s a big figure, and he’s done more than blown up his wife’s imminent return to showbiz. Needless to say, the pressure is on Dahlia, and she finds solace in caring for and playing with her daughter.

Name: Wyatt “Daddy” Johnson
Age: 30
Gender: Male
Occupation: Male Escort
Appearance: With chiseled and masculine features, Wyatt has always been a lady-killer. He stands at a respectable 6’0 but walks as if he were 100 feet tall. His eyes are a deep, almost black, chestnut color and contain a youthful and dangerous gleam. His jet black hair is of medium length and is usually slicked back in a fashionable style. His dark hair and eyes nicely contrast his pale skin and thin pink lips. These traits were inherited from his mother, who was pure Italian; his father was an American. Wyatt’s build is muscular, due to a healthy and frequent workout schedule, and his shoulder’s are broad. Overall, Wyatt is an attractive man. He often wears suits in order to maintain a look of success, and, due to the considerable amount money he makes from his home ‘business,’ most of his suits are designer.
Personality: Wyatt is a slick and calculating individual. He knows how to get what he wants, often times without the other person knowing what they have given him. He is a master manipulator; he finds peoples weaknesses, insecurities, and flaws and preys on them slowly. Being the local heartthrob most of his life, Wyatt has become learned in the art of sexual manipulation and bribery; he is aware of his sex appeal and uses it frequently in order to advanced himself; this method of exploitation has been used not only on women, but on men as well. Wyatt himself not sexually attracted to other human beings, male or female. To him, they are all tools in order to advance himself in the world. He does not feel love, and the closest thing he has experienced to love is an expendable fondness.
History: Wyatt was born on December 15th, 1928 to Harold and Vanessa Johnson. His father was a successful researcher and businessman on the development team for the Ford Model-T automobile, and his mother was of pure Italian descent whose family was closely tied to the mafia; in other words, money was never an issue for Wyatt and his family. Wyatt’s father was absent for most of his life, and his mother was only as beautiful as she was cruel. Feeling trapped and betrayed by an arranged marriage, Vanessa Johnson chose to focus her anger, depression, and hatred towards her son early on. For seemingly insignificant reasons, Wyatt would be screamed at or hit; anything could set his mother off. Because he was home-schooled by the teaching staff hired on by his father, Wyatt was constantly exposed to his mother’s tyranny. His father, who had little time around the two, never intervened due to lack of knowledge.
Wyatt’s childhood followed in the same, dark pattern until the age of 14 when he was sent to a private boarding school, Kentfield Academy, in Concord, New Hampshire. Kentfield, being one of the only co-educational schools at the time, is where Wyatt learned how to control others. Already sharp minded from his homeschooling as well as morally and emotionally disabled by his mother, Wyatt’s skills increased exponentially once he was exposed other people his age. Swiftly, he stole the hearts of many young women and men alike (as well as a few teachers). Because of his quick mind and multi-tasking abilities, Wyatt was able to juggle many ‘relationships’ at once. Naturally, he made a few mistakes in the beginning, but he soon learned the ropes of the game. His life continued on in this manner until, four years later in 1947, his life was changed again.
Now 18, Wyatt had just graduated from Kentfield and was college-bound; he planned to study business per request of his father. However, on a humid summer’s day in 1947, Andrew Ryan called. He spoke to his father, who was now renowned in the automobile industry as a developer, and invited him and his family to Rapture. Ryan hoped for Harold Johnson to head the automotive industry; he offered him limitless funding and permission to develop whatever he desired. The Johnsons began packing the next day. Forced to accompany his family to Rapture, Wyatt descended into its depths only months later, the college life he had dreamed of now gone.
Once in Rapture, Wyatt was told to continue his education, yet the sudden and dramatic changes caused the young man to develop a rebellious streak; his mother’s constant verbal abuse did not contribute to his desire to cooperate. He refused to go back to school and decided to pursue other avenues, leaving his family shortly after.
Now on his own and having no direction in life, Wyatt turned to the skills he knew best. He started off on the streets as a small time gigolo, but soon gained esteem in the upper circles of Rapture. Many times he was paid merely to be an accessory, sometimes he was paid for dining out and light flirting, and other times he was paid to enact his patron’s darkest fantasies; it didn’t matter who he was with or what he was doing; it was all the same to him. Over the years, Wyatt’s business mind and ability to bribe and manipulate with his body we’re reinforced to an almost titanium standard, and he now lives comfortably in a penthouse of his own. Currently, Wyatt is looking into avenues to expand his business. For now, however, his existence is spoken of in whispers between the lonely women and closeted men of the upper class.
