Alllrighty. Having played through Bioshock 2, we now have a few more locations that make up our wonderful distopia!
I wont spoil anything, Ill just tell you a basic bit of background info.
Alright, so first up we have Adonic Luxury Resort. Its a Greek themed, high end luxury resort. Citzens who went there recieved plasmid treatments and ADAM based rejuvination therapy. Theres a pool, steam rooms, and a banquet hall called Demeter's.
Next, we have Atlantic Express, the Grand Central Station of Rapture, built by a man named Prentice Mill. No longer is the bathysphere the only way around our city. Trains are secured onto overhead rails, and large doors decend into the ground to open the way towards the open ocean track. Just to be clear, the Atlantic Express is only availible in these new areas. It was the transport around the original parts of Rapture before the bathyspheres where invented.
Ryan Amusements is a propaganda park. The main show, Journey to the Surface, was designed by Carlson Fiddle to make the citizens of Rapture, mostly children, fear the surface world. Guests sit in a small bathysphere on a track and go through the various sections depicting the Government taking from the Farmer, the Government censoring the Artist, and the Government keeping the Scientists from Inventing. Each section is narrated by Andrew Ryan.
On the walls of the main lobby of Ryan Amusements are six exhibits that describe how Rapture was built, from Andrew Ryan on a boat and determining the location, to the divers securing the base of Rapture and building it.
Theres a cafe, called the El Dorado Lounge, a Gift Shop where you can buy candy, drinks, cards, toys, and dolls, and the Hall of the Future where visitors can observe and test new plasmids.
Next up is Pauper's Drop. Pauper's Drop is Rapture's poor district. It was originally built as housing for those constructing the Atlantic Express, and was never meant for permanent settlement. When the Express was finished being built the workers found that they couldnt afford to move anywhere else so they stayed. Our friend Augustus Sinclair profited on this by creating the Sinclair Deluxe, a "hotel" which was cheap housing. Sodia Lamb offered free counseling here, which she used to spread her influence to the lower class of Rapture. It is also home to the Fishbowl Diner.
The Town Square of Pauper's Drop has the King Pawn Pawn Shop, as well as a private investigator by the name of Rock Flanagan prior to the Civil War. There was also a Fontaine Clinic which sold gene tonics and was heavily defended. Also, in Skid Row, the worst place in the Drop, there was a jazz and blues club called the Limbo Room where Grace Holloway would sing. During songs they would pass out pamphlets detailing Sofia Lamb's philosophy. It was closed after the New Years Eve Riots.
Siren Alley, the Red Light District of Rapture. Once the place where Raptures architects and engineers would show off their skills, Siren Alley was turned into what it is today after the Civil War.
Little Eden Plaza was a multi level shopping center which was where the builders would present their creations. Sooner rather than later the shops turned into brothels. The Mermaid Lounge is the largest establishment in Little Eden Plaza. There is a bar and restaurant area and on the upper floor is a gambling room.
The Pink Pearl was once one of the most upscale hotels in Rapture, but after Rapture's economic collapse it was converted to a brothel where the hookers were forbidden to splice up. Finally, Plaza Hedone was a residential area with some small shops.
Dionysus Park, owned by Sofia Lamb to showcase her ideals, was a playground for adults. There is a large carousel, a movie theater, and a promenade. Notable people such as Sander Cohen have an art gallery here. The Park is also home to the Bacchanal Press, one of Rapture's newspapers. The park is eventually mysteriously flooded...
And finally, the Persephone Penal Colony. Persephone is a political prison and was constructed by Augustus Sinclair at the request of Andrew Ryan. The prison is suspended over a deep trench on the outskirts of the city, and built so that it can disengage from the city and fall into the trench in the event of a serious breakout threatening the city.
And there we have it. Now those of you who dont have a chance to play 2 yet know about the locations.

BUT THE PARASITE SAYS "NO!"
... lol, Ryan Amusements. Hooshit.
This game is friggin' fun to watch people play. It's also friggin' hard to pry out of people's hands, though.
BTW, currently reconsidering this RP. ARE THERE YET ANY BIG DADDIES, OR IS THIS TECHNICALLY PRE-1959/COMPLETE MELTDOWN?
Although technically, the strappings of MELTDOWN came before New Year's Day, 1959...

Its like July 1958. So Fontaine hasnt died yet, and Big Daddies are in very early production. Basically this is the Subject Delta era of Big Daddies in Rapture. Things are slowly turning for the worse, but stuff doesnt go wrong until September when Fontaine is killed, and shit doesnt hit the fan until New Years Eve.

Sorry for being a creep, guys. Posted, though not like it does much for the story... it's just stuff.
Did anyone want to meet with my character? Didn't you want to do something, turk? Let me know. I feel bad for neglecting, well, everything. I'm in a slump.

Since your character is in the same area as mine, I figured we might as well interact. Also, we need some sort of plot. I figure when Elle sees Caroline, she'll rush up to her and mistake her for Katie, then be disappointed to find out that she's somebody else. I don't know what will follow (whether Dahlia will be concerned or just be like "Freak" and pull Caroline away. And it's okay, it seems we've all been busy. I dunno about the rest of you, but I've been taking extra classes and working really hard... but now that finals are over, I'll have more time to RP.

Sure, if that's what you want to do. I guess Elle can run into them after they leave the studio.
