Wyatt Johnson :: Pathways of Rapture
"It's no problem at all, I feel the same way. So, you mentioned you lived in a penthouse right? You must make some pretty fine money freelancing eh?"
"Yes, I make some good money," Wyatt laughed, "I have some very reliable and regular costumers. I assist them with some of their... private affairs. It really depends of the person. I'm Jack-of-all-trades kind of guy; a little bit of something for everyone. I've built my career over the last decade or so when I left home to strike out on my own."
The two men were a little under half-way towards their destination. Wyatt felt the conversation was going rather well; Jon Gibson seemed to be a worthy conversation partner, though he didn't believe he would be finding a new customer in him. Still, something about the man intrigued him, and he was positive this would not be the last time they would be interacting. Give a dashing, affable smile, Wyatt waited for his companions response.

"Another self made man eh?" Jon asked with a laugh. "Good to see that hardwork can actually pay off here in Rapture. How long have you been down here if you don't mind me asking?"
It was obvious by the way he was speaking that Wyatt was into the... less talked about practices on the surface, practices that people looked down upon. But from what Jon knew about this city, it didn't matter what you did, everyone was out for themselves.
Jon figured that Wyatt could be a very good ally to him sometime down the road. It was best to keep things civil with him, and possibly not reveal too much too quickly.

Wyatt Johnson :: Pathways of Rapture
"I've been in Rapture since the summer of 1947. Just about twelve years. I wasn't so happy about the move initially; at the time, I was 18 years old and came with my parents. But I've come to enjoy Rapture by now," Wyatt said, a slight smile playing across his masculine jaw. The two men rounded the corner, coming to a large, glowing sign labeled "Athena's Glory."
"Ah," Wyatt said, "It looks like we've made it. I'd like to walk you to your apartment, if you don't mind. My mother wasn't good at a lot of things, but she taught me my manners." Wyatt gave a good humored chuckle to finish his sentence.

Athena's Glory
"I've been in Rapture since the summer of 1947. Just about twelve years. I wasn't so happy about the move initially; at the time, I was 18 years old and came with my parents. But I've come to enjoy Rapture by now," Wyatt told Jon.
"That long huh? It seems like a pretty decent place to live so far, though I can't wait to see my digs..." Jon trailed off as the two men turned a corner and saw a neon sign that read Athena's Glory.
The lobby to Athena's Glory was quite luxurious. In the center of the room was an elevator with a golden grill for a door. The floors were lined with a plush red carpet and the walls were a light beige. On either side of the room were stairs that led to the first level of the building.
"Ah," Wyatt said, "It looks like we've made it. I'd like to walk you to your apartment, if you don't mind. My mother wasn't good at a lot of things, but she taught me my manners."
"Not a problem at all," Jon said. He looked back down at the papers he was handed and found out he was on the top floor. "Top floor, penthouse suite," Jon said flicking the paper. "Guess that means we're going to be living pretty close to one another eh?"
The two men boarded an elevator in the center of the lobby and rode it all the way to the top. As indicated by the signs on the wall directly opposite the elevator, Jon's penthouse was off towards the left.
The two men made their way down the hallway, which was decorated in the same manner as the lobby and finally reached the end, a dark brown door greeting them. Just under the number was a small golden plaque that read J. Gibson.
"Well Wyatt, I thank you for your company on the way here, it really was great meeting you. You're welcome to come inside and check out the place if you'd like, though I'm afraid I don't think I have the proper tools necessary to entertain at the moment."

Wyatt Johnson :: Athena's Glory
"No, I'll have to take a rain check. I'm sure there are a lot of things you need to do today, having just moved in and all. Let me know if you ever need anything though; I'm just down the way," Wyatt said, "Here, take my card." The card was rather plain, white with black ink. On it was Wyatt's name and telephone and nothing else. It was minimalistic yet stylish. Smiling, Wyatt turned and walked down the hall way. "Have a good day, Mr. Gibson. I'm sure we'll be seeing each other again in the near future."
For now, Wyatt would return to his own penthouse and have a break before his evening job.

Athena's Glory
"No, I'll have to take a rain check. I'm sure there are a lot of things you need to do today, having just moved in and all. Let me know if you ever need anything though; I'm just down the way," Wyatt said before handing him his business card.
"That's quite alright. Rain check it is," Jon replied.
"Have a good day, Mr. Gibson. I'm sure we'll be seeing each other again in the near future."
"I'm sure we will." Jon extended his hand, which Wyatt shook before the two men parted ways.
Jon slipped his key into the lock and the door slid open to the right. Before him was an amazing view of the city. Jon walked inside and the door closed behind him, leaving him alone in his new home, the ocean casting a light blue hue on the room around him.
Jon's penthouse was fairly simple in design. There was a small foyer, which he was standing in, with amazing views of the city directly opposite the door. Off to his left was a small kitchen, with a dining room connected to it. On his right were two bedrooms, a larger master suite that also had amazing city views and a smaller bedroom that didn't have any windows. Directly at the end of the hallway was the bathroom.
Apparently this was one of the less luxurious penthouses, but Jon didn't mind. Deciding it would be best to just get some sleep, Jon dropped onto his large bed. As he lay there with his eyes closed, something didn't feel right. He opened his eyes and realized that the glowing ocean was actually a pretty big distraction. He snapped the shades closed and went back to the bed in the complete darkness. Tomorrow he would be off into the city to make his mark in paradise...

Wyatt Johnson :: Penthouse > Kashmir Restaurant
After relaxing for a few hours, Wyatt began preparing for his next engagement. He washed his face, turning up the heat of the water in order to shave. Razor blade in hand, Wyatt ran it over his face until the skin was smooth. He gave a rugged smile in the mirror and winked. Dabbing his face dry with a towel, the escort grabbed a bottle of aftershave from the medicine cabinet to finish the job; the sting always felt good.
Now dressing, he picked one of his best suits. It was sleek and black with a matching tie and a fresh, white shirt. He gave his clothing a quick once over with the iron next to his bed and then slipped each article on in careful succession: underwear, socks, shirt, pants, belt, tie, shoes, and jacket. Before leaving, Wyatt took a quick look in his room length mirror in order to do some last minute straightening before heading to the Kashmir Restaurant. There, Wyatt waited quietly amongst the tables; he always made a point to be at least a half hour early.
In order to keep him company, Wyatt ordered a glass of brandy, taking small sips now and then. Most people may have felt lonely sitting by themselves, but Wyatt didn't mind; he always enjoyed his solitude. For now, Wyatt would wait, his mind running through potential conversation topics for the night to come.
