{Elveda, Col Calgici Main Caravan}
As Leander and Joel walked to the main caravan, noises could be hear coming from within. Looking at each other, they picked up their walking speed. It seemed things had gotten started without them.
Following a step behind Joel, he watched as his boss flung the door open with the intention of alarming those inside. Peering behind the large man before him, he could Noel, Cross and Amisi sitting around the table. He of course saw Ellie too, and instantly smiled. Stepping into the rather large caravan, Leander waltzed in patiently behind Joel, waiting to see what he had to say to his bickering comrades.
Was that his chair they were fighting over?
“What the hell is going on in here!” Joel demanded in a bellowing voice. “Noel, leave Ellie be, and relinquish that chair at once! Ellie, stop agitating Noel! You know you’ll win any fight with him anyway.” Joel shot a angry look at his brother before taking a few steps forward. “I’m not your father, and I do not expect to have to come in here and take care of a bunch of squabbling babies.”
Leander just stood next to Joel smiling. He wanted to laugh at the situation. He really, really wanted to. His sister and Noel trying to fight over his chair was quite comical to him. Though he could have laughed, easily, he stifled his need to chuckle in fear of Joel reprimanding him as well.
He looked at Amisi and Cross, searching their eyes for answers, but both of them gave off signs of “not wanting anything to do with it.” This made Leander want to laugh more. He wondered if he had been the original cause of the brouhaha. It was his chair, afterall.
