Personally, I would jump at the chance to get a FFVII remake. I don't care what you people say about it being an old game that wasn't all that it's hyped up to be. The story was amazing, I'm a diehard turn-based-RPG fan, and FFIX was not that great if only because they suddenly changed character designers. Though I do like Vivi. And FFX sucked.

It's funny though. I think I'm one of those few people that love every final fantasy game made so far. I think they've all been amazingly well done, but VII happens to be my personal favorite. It's just so... epic. And I love Aerith...
I was horrified to see her in kingdom hearts and some other games. I was like, 'Way to diminish the whole death things by putting her in EVERYTHING square enix touches....'
I think she should stay in VII related games....
But yeah, I love them all. I even enjoyed XII, though not so much as a final fantasy game... as a game it was great! But it failed to meet up expectations for FF.... And Ashe should have been the main character, not Vaan.
But my second favorite is probably XI and X tied together. XI was just.... amazing, and I just thought X was so creative. Like the world, people, etc. All three games had amazing storylines in my view. All the others were good, but not comparable. I am liking VI though [as I slowly make my way through it lol].

Yeah, biggest problem with XII was that the main character did not seem like the main character.

Vaan was not the main character. It was all about Ashe.

I loved the language use in FXII. And the world. And basically everything about it. It's one of my favorites.
Definitely in my top five.

Yeah, XII was a great game... just not the best 'final fantasy' game. I think it would have been 100% better if Ashe had been the main character, and she was in all honesty. Yet isn't this always the case: The less important male supports a more plot important female character.
Think about it. Aerith is more important than cloud. Rinoa is more important than Squall. Zidane and Dagger are somewhat tied, I guess. Yuna was WAY more important than Tidus. Ashe was more important than Vaan.
So... I guess that's how FF likes to make it's games.
But yeah. Ashe is the true main character of FFXII. If only it had been her.
Basche was the original main character, but they felt the protagonist had to be younger. That's why the made Vaan and Penelo. They weren't even in it at the start... I guess that's why they're so unimportant... lol.

I agree :3
I liked his femininity. He doesn't want Penelo.
HE WANTS BALTHIER!
