Definately read all the Codex pages, provides... closure I guess, to Altair. Its some pretty interesting stuff too, I was pleasantly surprised.
And yes, freerunning would be amazing but as I live in pretty much the suburbs theres no real place to go freerunning so Im kinda s.o.l. on that one. My friend used to "freerun" at the park, but I just called it "Quickly running up the jungle gym" XD

It's actually thanks to Mirror's Edge that I want to practice parkour (which is technically what Ezio's doing: running from point a to b in the most efficient manner, all obstacles can be overcome with a good jump, vault, etcetera).
Totally missing the ability to slide under things, here, and the ability to wallrun. :(
Freerunning is like parkour, but it has more emphasis on freely running (not necessarily the fastest path) and the creativity associated. Since half the time I'm running away, I'd assume that Ezio is performing parkour.
I'm a better Runner than Assassin, incidentally... BUSTIN' THROUGH THE SHARD, BABY!
Anyways, got one more man to go through 'till I get to slaughter Jacopo. >:3
EDIT: I'm a fast little snot, and I'm pretty nimble too, it's just that my ability to balance sucks, and my flexibility blows. But, I'm already seeing all sorts of things I can climb and run all over my college campus, and the city it's in. I'm still too afraid to vault short fences, but once I get to it then HIGH-TAILING IT TO BUSES will be tons easier. >:3
I've already been inspired to do crazy things, and luckily, nobody cares! XD

Yeah I totally wish that you could wall run in this game. Loved it in the Prince of Persia games. Totally something I would love to learn to do, but as Ive said, no where to do it. Plus Im pretty sure that I lack the upper body strength to jump off a roof and catch myself on the building across the street. Ill probably fall and die and then itll be plastered all over the news "Guy Imitating Assassin's Creed II Character Dies. VIDJA GAMES ARE STILL BAAAAD! " Terrible...

Hahahahaha I've imitated AC already before. But in a less... dangerous way. I just walk around and push invisible people out of the way (as Altair and Ezio do when you hold down O [or B for you xbox folk] for "gentle push").
I know, I know. I'm too cool for school.

When one of my friends first got the first game he sat there fore literally 20mins just gentle pushing people around, laughing hysterically while he did it. He is SOOOOO lucky I didnt have a hidden blade or I wouldve ended his life then and there.
Like I seriously sat there and stared at him the entire time and he only stopped when I whacked him in the head with a pillow and told him to knock it off XD

I "gently push" people in huge crowds by jabbing them with my elbows! It probably works better in cities like NYC, where people expect general rudeness. XD
I walk along the tops of 2-foot high walls, attempt climbing random stuff, sit on top of fences (like a delinquent!), and run... while leaping up on low-lying benches and then dropping down from them. Takes less time than trying to navigate around them!
I need to work on vaulting, and I have had a DREAM where I've learned to wallrun. I learned how from... get this... MATT DAMON. XD
Anyways, I'm off to Venice in ACII. Yaaaay!
And damn, poor Jacopo. He deserved to die more efficiently.
Oh, and before killing Jacopo, I accidentally stabbed the brains out of that annoying monk guy's friend. Whoops.

Ahh Venezia... Such a beautiful place. Loved it when I was there. When I ran past the Doge's Palace, the... southern I guess side, the one right near the bay, I looked at a spot and went... "Wait a sec... I hung out right there! Whoo!" and ran around. Its so bad when youve been to a place thats used in a video game XD

My best friend once traveled all over Italy! So, naturally, the game kind of blew her mind, too.
She also has told me that the peaceful Renaissance-era Venice we imagine is SHATTERED in AC II. She very colorfully described the violence, murders, and et cetera that was going on, and what a madhouse it was for her. Then again, I'll have to see THE CRAZINESS for myself...!
Will do tonight, after I experience having this thing called a "life" and do something other than assassinate people~

Yeah Venice has a lot going on. Probably why they divide Venice into like 5 different memories lol Beautiful representation of the city and I would love to go back for longer this time and visit other places around Italy.
Yeah, I totally stopped answering my phone so I could assassinate more people XD

LOOKING AT AERIAL PHOTOS OF FLORENCE MAKES ME SO FREAKING HAPPY. FOR NO GOOD REASON OTHER THAN, "Pfffft! I jumped off that building today!"
LOL FREAKIN' L. I wonder if Italians find this game amusing? It'd be pretty trippy.... playing the game... IN FLORENCE.
OH, GOD NOES. CRAZY THINGS WOULD HAPPEN.

"Hey that-a feather is-a where my-a house-a should be!!!" (Note: I am actually Italian so this is totally fine XD)
Yeah that would be pretty trippy if you ask me lol
But yeah, I only got to go to Venice. Then again, it was a trip with my German club, so Im surprised we went there at all lol Must go back and visit Firenze, Roma, Venezia... Definately not Forli though. Unless its nice now, assuming it still exists. Forli in the game sucks dick XD
