OH GOD. THE STEAMPUNK IN ME IS SOOOOO HAPPY. THIS IS A VERY COOL TRAILER. Also has got me thinking about The Affinity Bridge again, which is a steampunk novel (with mystery! zombies-things! robots!). I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT BOOK, ESPECIALLY SINCE THIS TRAILER HAS ME THINKING ABOUT IT. All the balloons and dirigibles! Eeee! And that *ahem* beating heart in the chassis of what makes me think of a proto-Delta-proto-Big Daddy sorta thing IS VERY COOL. Drooooool. GUYS, STOP MAKING ME WANT TO GO BACK TO TALKING ABOUT THAT TESLAPUNK IDEA. SERIOUSLY. I MIGHT GO THERE, AGAIN, AND INVENT YET MORE TECHNOLOGY FOR IT. 'CAUSE, YOU KNOW.

He was trying to tell me that Bioshock 2 was better than Bioshock 1 when he hadn't even played 30 minutes of the first. Trying to tell me that the "locations" in Bioshock 2 were better when he hadn't even gotten out of the Medical Pavilion... urrgh. He did the same thing to me with Shadow of the Colossus. He's trying to give me high blood pressure.

I hate people who like to talk about the things which they know nothing about. It irritates me to no end.

Hes probably one of those guys that just likes running around shooting things. If thats the case then yeah, hed definately find Bioshock 2 better than Bioshock. I dont even listen to people like that because they cant appreciate the deeper levels the games have to offer.

Thank you. So much. You understand my pain completely. Seriously, you described the situation exactly.

Ive seen it countless times on the 2K forums. Especially right after the game came out. Those are also the people that cant understand the story and find it incoherent and trash it at every turn because they dont take the time to pick up audio diaries to learn.

See there are two types of gamers. Those who are driven by story, and those who are driven by gameplay.
Story gamers are infinitely more intelligent and awesome in every way. We get more out of games.

Not to say that I don't enjoy gameplay too lol. But a game is more than just that.

Haha, I understood your meaning. Gameplay is important, but it is nowhere near everything in a game.

If I'm not mentally stimulated -- at least a little -- by a game, then it's hard for me to play it, no matter how bad-ass gameplay may be. That's why I can't really play Final Fantasy games anymore. It's all the same stuff, essentially. Same kinds of characters, dilemmas. It's a shame because the franchise is really visually breathtaking.

Ive never actually played a Final Fantasy game. Not a fan of the gameplay funnily enough XD See, it works both ways.
