I don't do well with "frightening images."

There arent really any frightening images in Bioshock. Its more the sounds that are made and the surprise when some crazy gun weilding, bunny mask wearing psycho jumps out from behind a casket to bash your brains in...
Or is that frightening? lol

A little. lol
I mean, I can handle it, it's just I'm not the biggest fan of being scared. For as long as I can remember, I've had this crazy imagination. All I need is a little stimulus, and my mind just goes and goes. Horror really stimulates my mind. I start thinking "Oh, what if that could happen?" or "I should check behind the shower curtain" and things like that. I guess I suffer from some sort of paranoia. lol I loose sleep over being scared. I'm a big believe in "fear not the dark, but what the dark hides."
I'm a grown woman and I sometimes have to sleep with the lights on.
;__;
God, that sounded pathetic.

Lily: Oh, don't worry one bit. I was exactly the same way. I could barely play Metroid Prime; that's how much of a wimp I was. But trust me when I say that Bioshock is a satisfying scary. That story complexities and character depth really make up for the fact that deformed people try to kill you. There were a few times where I had to pause and breathe, but now, for the most part, I love just charging in and killin' me some Splicers. B) CO: No, I haven't heard of it. What is it? O: btw, I approve of that little Telekinesis icon~ I'M GONNA FIND ONE FOR ME

Theres Something in the Sea is kinda like a teaser site for Bioshock 2. It tells the story of a guy whose daughter was kidnapped by the Big Sister and hes trying to find answers to where his daughter is. Its already pretty far in, but if you take a look at this handy dandy Bioshock wikia it will give you a detailed account of what surfaces in the room every day. And what kinda annoys me is that on August 8th they did a promotion that placed these Arcadia wine bottles with Bioshock posters inside them at ten beaches around the world, which they set up on that site, and one of them was in NY and I missed it! But basically its just a site to give you more of the story for not only Bioshock 2, but the events that led to Raptures creation.

My pleasure lol Like I said, I am in love with the story and setting so Ive been following it all. I even began writing a prequal story that took place during all the events leading up to the game, but I only wrote one chapter and kinda stop. Perhaps this can reignite my story... Ill have to use Incinerate! XD

OMG there was a Bioshock topic and I didn't know about it. Absolutely loved the game. I dunno, maybe its the whole 1950s type decor they got going on, or how I love to fire BEES FROM MY ARMS AT PEOPLE. This game captivated me, and I played it on highest graphical settings just to stare at the pretty wateerrrrrrrr.....
I want to watch the welcome to rapture part over and over again. Most stunning view EVER.
