It's getting steadily painful. D:
Discuss: - Are you in college? - Do you like it? Why or why not? - What's the most difficult for you? - What do you like the best?
Etc etc.

I move in on the 19th and start on the 24th and I'm already utterly in love with my school. The campus is beautiful. It's like hiking to class every day, there are so many trees everywhere! I can't wait!

Haha, well I'm glad you're excited. : )
I don't hate my school. In fact, it's actually great. It's just that things are starting to pile up, and I don't have time to see my family. Which sucks. I have a 3 year old and a 10 month old sister and brother, and I miss them. Lots. ;~;

I love college. My college is in the Bay Area [San Francisco area], but it's kind of ghetto D:
My school is great for some things, but terrible at others. I like the school enough, but I often feel like it isn't 'my college.'
Know what I mean? Like, in my heart, I feel like I belong somewhere else.
The people are amazing. That's the best part of my school :]

Ohh San Fran! I'm normally not a city person, but San Fran is an exception. I used to go there all the time with my family as a kid to watch Giants games and plays and stuff.
I'm in Santa Cruz. I guess I'm pretty lucky to feel like I'm at home in my school. A year ago I never pictured I'd enjoy going there, but hey, here I am.
And oof. I'm leaving my 14-year-old brother, who needs me to make microwave means for him cuz otherwise he'd burn them. I told him to try to make microwave gyozas. The instructions were on the package. Somehow, he made them taste like plastic (and yeah he tried to follow the instructions). Sigh. If he doesn't learn to make at least microwave meals, he'll just eat at 7-11 or the local pizza place instead -.-

I didn't have to leave anyone but my parents, and that was hard in itself. I thought I was going to cry when they left after helping me unpack, but I didn't lol. My older brother cried when he moved out though LMAO. I thought it would be the other way around.
Make no doubt though, we were both scared out of our minds lol.

Lessee... yes, I'm in college. This is... well, my third year at a two-year community college (just changed majors, lol) and I hope to graduate with my A.A. in like 2010-2011ish? I don't know.
Anyways, I'm majoring in Gaming and Simulation, hell yeah, baby. Art and Animation and the like.
I quite like college, but then again, I still live at home (and am car-less and license-less. Er...). I like the fact that people get to choose their classes, and when they have those classes, given that they register early.
What I like least is probably the workload, sometimes. I can't really take more then 3 or so classes, because I'm a perfectionist/slow worker/lazy/whatever. Luckily, I don't waste time partying and such, so my only issue is laziness, bad planning and, uh... videogames!
Oh, and textbooks are so aggravatingly expensive! I also hate that classes don't always use the same books, and the required editions tend to change every year making the books you already have difficult to sell.
Gone are the days of new(!) $55.00 calculus textbooks. That particular one was my Dad's book, from when he was in college way back when. And yes, it still has its price sticker on it, lol.
What I like best is probably the diversity, and the smallness, of the school I'm in. Oh, and my math teacher made me learn to love the subject... I am fiddling with the idea of working my way out of "math for liberal arts" students, and just plain old "MAAAATH" so I can get into Calculus~
Still annoyed that Sociology doesn't count as a non-lab science credit. Durrr... isn't Sociology considered a social science? I wouldn't have had to take that Anthropology course if it counted, but nooo. And as much as I enjoyed Anthropology, I failed. ><;
If I wasn't majoring in gaming, I'd be majoring in art, or history, or... something biology-related. Fiddling with the idea of minoring in mathematics, but I'm not as strong at math as I wish I was. :P
