Everyone, make sure you let your mothers know that you love them, and thank them for all they do for you.
You'll never know just how much you love them and need them until they're not there.

Ti amo, Mamma.

I called my mother at 7 AM this morning in order to tell her that I love her and miss her. Then I promptly went back to sleep and stayed that way until 11:30.

LOL @ Danime
I'm about to call my mother and grandmothers in an hour or so. I love them too. :3
Even if they drive me insane half the time...

I prefer to let actions speak louder than words. At least, that's what I thought I was doing when I got up at 2am to rock my baby brother back to sleep and make him a bottle.
Apparently that's not good enough for Mother Dearest...
Oh well. She ran me ragged today so hopefully that shows something. :/

Mother is simply a euphemism for slave driver...

LOL Daniel x) You wake up at 11:30? O.o That's an early weekend for me bahaha My parents actually drove down here so we could all spend mother's day as a family. My mom gets kinda motion sick by the way... so for Mom it's like "Happy Mother's Day! Let's go down an hour of windy roads (Highway 17) early in the morning to visit your daughter who never calls!" Then we kinda ran around downtown. My brother and I decided that since it was Mother's day, we wouldn't complain when she wanted to do a wine tasting (we did, however, sneak off to a nearby comic book store). We then ended up eating at my mom's favorite restaurant (her favorite in Santa Cruz), where I had squid ink ravioli and lemme tell you, squid ink tastes WEIRD. At the end of the day, I gave my mom an earring tree I bought made of bundles of wires and some beads on the branches (it looks a lot prettier than it sounds, I should have taken a picture) and my brother stole all my Batman comics. :/

I cleaned the entire house. Spotless. Dusted, wiped down tables, EVERYTHING.
And now kids are coming over tomorrow...they'll demolish everything in two minutes. D:

I live with my Mom, so I'm not traveling cross-country or cross-state or cross-town to see her. More like cross-house. LOL. (Ah, the joys of Community College!) I got her this for Mother's Day. She loves it, and will place it on her desk in her office. :3 On a side note, it was my Dad that got the massage, not Mom, on Mother's Day. My Dad has MS, and the disease is effecting how his brain communicates to his left leg. So we had him go get a massage in his legs, in hopes that it will loosen up his muscles. XD

Are you absolutely, completely sure that it was squid ink? And not EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEVIL?
Because Ravioli with an Extra Kick of EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEVIL is a great Mother's Day meal. If you're not sure, alternate names include EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEVIOLI, RaEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEVIL-oli, and "Ravioli~ MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!" *thunderclap*.
This kind of ravioli is the best kind, by the way...
