SURPRISE! THERE'S A LITERATURE BOARD NAO!
I figured it was about time for one...
Anyway,
I just bought the novel of Howl's Moving Castle, of which the animated film is based off of.
I loooove it so far! It's a pretty easy read, which was not what I expected, but still really enjoyable. I guess it's a series, and Howl's Moving Castle is only the first of three.
Anyway, it's essentially the movie with a few exceptions so far.
I started reading it this morning and have spent most of my time doing that today... I'm around page 100, so there's still plenty left.
Has anyone else read it?

I haven't read it, but I want to! Not that I need more books on my reading list... <<
Btw, could you move the Books threads in the Chat board to this board, now that there is one? <- sometimes an organization freak

I finished the book last night! It was pretty awesome!
Lots and lots of interesting stuff there that wasn't included in the movie, though that's a given.
And there are two more books! I'll get them one of these days. First I have to start and finish the first vampire D book.
I will say though, the author likes to... understate or imply things. She never really... says something happened, or at least takes a while to.
Like when Sophie's curse is broken, she doesn't really state that it's broken in the book. She mentions her hair being red briefly (since it's been white the whole book) at one part where she's trying to save Howl. And then like... ten pages later someone says 'Your curse has been broken.'
The small nuances are nice, but sometimes it gets a little annoying.
