I was going to love fest today in San Fran with my friend and some of his friends...
And we were driving to the BART, which is the public transportation for the bay area, and I just got too nervous to go with them because I didn't know anyone but my friend :(
So then I made up this story about having to go back to school because I had a project for japanese I forgot I had to finish by four today. I told them I could come in a few hours... but I don't wanna go.
I just feel like a dumb ass now :(
I'm pretty outgoing, so I don't know why I got so nervous.
My friend was really disappointed I couldn't go with him, and I'm worried he might suspect that I was lying... I hope he isn't mad now. Do you think I should go? I'm sure it'll be too late by the time anyone responds lol.

I'm not really looking for advice, but I just felt so bad I wanted to tell people not related to the incident...

I even made myself look ridiculously attractive....
And by that I mean I tried to look nice LMAO.
But now it's like... why did I even bother if I was just going to screw it up anyway...meh.

Hmm... I ran into a similar dilemma today. My friend invited me to go to the Farmer's Market with her... then suddenly, she decided to go visit her friend at another college, blowing me off in a way. It's been a beautiful day, and I was sort of disappointed that I couldn't go anywhere. Then she texted me asking if I'd like to go to visit her friend with her, and I thought that was just plain awkward, so I turned down the offer. Then she was like: "Mehhh now you can't complain about not being able to go anywhere because you could have!"
Anyway... I'm sure if you hang out with them for more time, it will be less awkward. Especially if it's a group (unlike my situation, which was just me, my friend, and her friend). There's more of a chance that you'll connect with someone. If you really want to go to love fest, then go for it, if it's worth being a little embarrassed at first for. If not, then don't. *shrugs*

I agree with Gabby... I know a lot of people who have been looking forward to Lovefest (and I'd never heard of it till this year) and if you really want to go, then go! But if you were just going because your friend was going (or you were being dragged into it or something) then you don't have to.

Well, it's too late now lol. By the time I get there I won't have much time left.
I wanted to go, but not with that group lol.
By the way, you have facebook, correct?
MAYBE WE SHOULD JOIN FORCES AND TERRORIZE FACEBOOK!?
