Lol, Obama gets the Peace Prize simply for being the first non-white preseident. Seriously. He didn't do shit. Except get elected.

I'm pretty sure they gave it to him for his "diplomacy." I definitely agree, it was awful timing. But, as I said, it gives him even more expectations to live up to. Peeeeeeer pressuuuuuuuure.

Heh, true. I'm happy for him, but in comparison to the likes of Nelson Mandela, his "efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between peoples” are not much...
But I can't think of anyone (else) who has made a huge contribution in the last year (of the top of my head at least).
