He's just hiding. Is anyone still as upset over this as I am? Or am I just a total freak? I'm going to see his "This Is It" documentary.

Unfortunately, I've never been a Michael fan. I haven't even really heard a lot of his music. I do love Heal The World though :3
And I can't believe they're saying his death was a homicide now O:
I just think they're making up evidence because they want to make it a scandal...

WHAT
My mom practically brainwashed me with MJ haha. So I guess I can't really blame others if they're not as scarily concerned about it all.
U dun liek Thriller? Billie Jean? Smooth Criminal? D:
Well, they're calling it manslaughter. They have proof his doctor injected MJ with like... 4 different medications that same night. One was a depressor (to help him sleep), another was a painkiller I believe, and another was some sort of stimulant. I don't know. But it like... messed up his system. His heart didn't know what to do: speed up or slow down. So it just... stopped.
Not to mention, the sleep aid he gave MJ was anesthesia. @~@ You don't give that to someone outside of an operating room usually. Not to mention, you have to watch them after giving it to them, just in case.
So, in many respects, it is a scandal. But under strange circumstances. The dude didn't mean to kill MJ. That was probably the best job in the world.

Oh, I didn't know that. That sounds a little more reasonable to me.
And as for me, my parents really didn't expose me to music as a child, so I had to figure things out on my own XD Thus, I don't know a lot of songs :[ But I do like all of those songs! I know the standard ones, but not very well.

Want to see how bad it was for me lol? This is me. *dies*I put it up right after he died because I was so distraught. But yeah. Definitely reasonable. It was just terribly stupid and unfortunate.

It seems...odd to me.
A day before Michael Jackson died, everyone I knew joked about Michael Jackson being a supposed "pedophile"--not claiming to believe this, by the way--and the day after, those same people were mourning his death.
For example? VH1, which used to constantly mock Michael Jackson, all the next day held a sort of memorial in his honor; this was copied on plenty of other TV programs as well. The same went with my friends and family--my brother and nearly all of my friends, who, before Jackson's death, were ardent anti-Michael people, began to suddenly love his music and began wearing a bunch of Michael Jackson style clothing, saying to anyone who they knew, "LONG LIVE THE KING." And I just felt it was hypocritical, because it was their kind of taunting and attacking jokes against him that most definitely drove him to his death...
Now, I can't say I ever enjoyed Michael Jackon's music...and I have made my fair share of remarks about his supposed pedophiliac crimes. (Hell, my favorite joke against him came after his death--"When Farah Fawcett died, God granted her one wish. Her wish was for all the children on the world to be safe... So God killed Michael Jackson.") But I certainly never used his death as a means of furthuring my own reputation, as so many in the media did...and I never would. It's disingenuous, and disrespectful to the millions of MJ fans that loved him even through the toughest of times, like my mother. And though I never did enjoy his music so much, and will not hesitate in arguing his title as "King of Pop," even I--as a musician myself--cannot help but respect the talent that Michael had in dancing, singing, writing, and even in playing instruments. Even more so, he was a father--a father, who's children loved him dearly, who will now have to live without there dad...

I knew people just like that. It makes me sick sometimes. I actually have textual evidence of someone doing the exact thing you just mentioned... I dunno. But I understand what you're saying. I made MJ jokes, too; but what really messes me up is how willing people are to villainize someone, especially someone who has done so much like Michael. I mean, think about it. The man broke down so many racial barriers. He's donated more to charity than almost anyone else. Hell, he was the one that BEGGED the Clinton Administration and the world to pay more attention to HIV/AIDS. He approached issues that were considered untouchable. But what made him so powerful also made him so, so vulnerable. Can you even imagine yourself being accused of such a crime? When throughout your life, you have done nothing but tried to help children and figure out what you missed out on? I can only feel pity. And the guy who originally pressed charges on MJ for child molestation... he committed suicide not even a few weeks after MJ's death. Guilt much? Btw, and no offense or anything, but your joke is sickening.
