I'll probably just end up being the person who has no part in anything but gets tragically caught up in the entire mess. Maybe a mother whose daughter was kidnapped to be made into a little sister? They couldn't have THAT many orphan girls running around...

No, thats actually entirely possible. Once Ryan takes over Fontaine Futuristics after Fontaines death Ryan started kidnapping girls to make into little sisters because he didnt have access to Fontaines Little Sister Orphanage. Youd just have to wait awhile before that particular story would play out. Also, I figured that using the new locations we find out in Bioshock 2 would be good for the RP. Granted theres only about 3 new ones at the moment, but theyre new nonetheless. Mephis also makes a great mad scientist, too. Rubbing hands together, being weirdly chaotic almost as often as he behaves very sensibly... Yeah. I don't know. I think he'll just have fun playing with plasmids, in the very least. Too much fun. Well then have at it! Besides, he'll only go more insane the more plasmids he uses XD

But I haven't played Bioshock 2 yet! How am I supposed to know the new locations?! D: And don't even dare try telling me to go look it up or something. The feel you get for a place is entirely different when merely seeing it and reading about it from running through it for your life as you zap mad splicers.

Laaame! You need to playyy itttttt. Playyy itttttt and loooourve ittttt like we do XD I would! Like I said it's been on my list... only thing is, the only game system I get to take with me to my dorm is my PSP. Also, my parents don't like video games. It's hard enough to get us to buy games and when they do buy games for us/let us buy games, they're always ones my brother wants because he actually has time to play them. They think I shouldn't play video games and that I should use that time to study instead. Gwar...

Well there's the Adonis Luxury Resort which is exactly what it sounds like, and Psiren Alley which is the Red Light District basically, and of course there's Ryan Amusements. But mainly until 2 comes out we don't have any there locations. I guess I just wanted to bring the resort to your attention. Nice place for some r and r Id imagine lol And I agree, screw studying and play Bioshock XD Tell your brother to ask for it. Or go rent it. Ten bucks for a week, not bad and you should finish in no time. Also I apologize if anything is spelled wrong or completely out of place, I'm typing on my iPod right now lol

See, that works for you cuz you're, uh, smart. -.- And I agree, screw studying and play Bioshock XD Tell your brother to ask for it. Or go rent it. Ten bucks for a week, not bad and you should finish in no time. Hmm, I guess I could try convincing my parents to let me rent it over the break... Granted it'll be just a couple weeks of play and I don't usually finish games "in no time" but at least I'll get a feel for it, right?

Go for it, what's the worst that could happen? And besides, it really isn't that long of a game so you should be fine. I will say this though, take your time and explore all the city has to offer. There's great things that you can only find if you're going to take the time to seek them out.
And even if you don't finish, you'll get a feel for what makes the city so unique and tragic and get some first hand experience on the story elements well be working with

It's bad enough that I call Gene (and any other beings like himself) "Splicers", anyways. It gets mildly confusing.
Anyways, I'm pretty much dead-set on Mephis, since I want a little more method to my madness, here. I'm just not sure which aspect of him I want to use, since he's rather intellectually gifted, and enjoys bouncing from one specialty to another... IN EXTREMES.
I'd love for him to be a rather... *cough* interesting doctor with questionable methods mixed with, what else? Crazy. He likes experimenting... on, um, stuff (PEOPLE!).
Hilariously enough, the dubbed voice for Lloyd Asplund (from Code Geass) sounds exactly as I imagine him to sound...
Note that Mephis is a self-proclaimed genius, although he also may be perfectly correct in this assumption. He also has an ego, and can be a greedy little git. In other words: FUN!
*cackles*

Oh yeah, Turk, when you play Bioshock, play at night, with all the lights off. Kind of like how you're supposed to play F.E.A.R. but less heart-attack-inducing. And I say that the Code Geass dub was horrible, as I think the majority of anime english dubs are horrible.

Well, that what many of my other friends say. *shrug*
I've heard my fair share of bad dubbing and good dubbing, and until I've heard the Japanese, I'm cool with the Code Geass dub. Personally because Lloyd tends to steal the scene every time.
If I can get wrapped up in the story and characters, without thinking, "Ah, this voice sounds waaay out-of-place" or the like, then it's actually pretty good in my book. If only because watching DBZ subbed is like a complete headtrip. WTF, Goku, surely your balls dropped... when?
I tend to end up watching subs when there isn't anything else available... And if I ever had the consideration to be a voice actor, seriously. That kind of talk probably makes a person less interested in being one.
Granted, you're talking about dubs in general, and not specific voice actors, right?
Bear for some more off-topicness: there is, in fact, a dub I prefer over another dub... I prefer the Fox dub of My Neighbor Totoro over the Disney dub. The older, Fox dub, mind you, is almost exactly the same as the Japanese version, word for word- just in English. with voice actors I find more convincing, to be honest (The character Satsuki, specifically).
Hilariously, the opening and ending themes are in English, but have nearly the same lyrics, and are both to the same tune as the Japanese themes! Now THAT is a head trip. And yes, that bathtub scene is perfectly intact, with some of the best laughter EVER.
